Abstract:
The food-borne pathogen Listeria monocytogenes attaches to environmental surfaces and forms biofilms that can be a source of food contamination yet little is known about the molecular mechanisms of its biofilmdevelopment. We observed that nonmotile mut

Materials & Methods:
We confirmed that the overnight culture of the wild type and nonglycosylated-flagellum mutant were motile by microscopy. Dishes (P35G-1.5-14-C; MatTek Co. Ashland MA) were inoculated with 1.5 ml of each culture at time zero.
