Abstract:
Neuronal processes contain mRNAs and membrane structures and some forms of synaptic plasticity seem to require protein synthesisin dendrites of hippocampal neurons. To quantitate dendriticprotein synthesis we used multiphoton microscopy of green flu Materials & Methods:
Primary
cultured hippocampal neurons were prepared from embryonic
day 18 rats and grown at low density on CELLocate coverslips
