Abstract:
Mutations in emerin cause the X-linked recessive form of Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy (EDMD). Emerinlocalizes at the inner membrane of the nuclear envelope(NE) during interphase and diffuses into the ER whenthe NE disassembles during mitosis. Keywords:
