Abstract:
We report here that importin accumulates reversibly in the nucleus in response to cellularstresses including UV irradiation oxidative stressand heat shock. The nuclear accumulation of importin appears to be triggered by a collapse in the Ra Keywords:

Importin (mouse Rch1) and were constructed with pEGFP-C1 plasmid
(CLONTECH Laboratories Inc.). HeLa cells were plated onto a glass bottom
dish (MatTek Corporation) cultured for 1–2 d before use. After the
