Abstract:
Cofilin an actin-binding protein plays an important role in the migration phagocytosis and superoxide production of activatedphagocytes through cytoskeletal reorganization.

Keywords:
Cofilin; U73122; Phospholipase C; Superoxide; Opsonized zymosan; Beta-2 integrin; phagocytes

Materials & Methods:
Human monocytic U937 cells were cultured as described previously [5] and induced to macrophage-like cells with 200 ng/ml recombinant human tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-a) and 100 nM 1a25-dihydroxy-vitamin D3 (125- DHVD3) for 3 days.

Microscopic Technique
Confocal Microscopy, Laser Scanning
