Congenital long- or short-QT syndrome may lead to life-threateningventricular tachycardia and sudden cardiac death.

Materials & Methods:
Total RNA was extracted from the ventricular myocardium of adult guinea pig with an RNEasy mini kit (Qiagen) according to the manufacturer's instructions and then quantified by a UV spectrometer.
