Materials & Methods:
Floxed bcl-x mice ( Wagner et al., 2000 ) were bred with NEX-CRE knockin mice ( Goebbels et al., 2006 ) to generate conditional bcl-x knockout ( bcl-x fl ox / fl ox ;nex cre/+ ) and control embryos ( bcl-x fl ox / + ;nex cre/+ ).
