Abstract:
To identify genes with upregulated expression at theoptic nerve head (ONH) that coincides with retinal ganglioncell (RGC) axon loss in glaucomatous DBA/2J mice. To furtherdemonstrate that the proteins encoded by these genes bind toRGC axons and in Materials & Methods:
After an interval of 6 to 12 days, the retinas were
dissected and cut into pieces approximately 1 mm2 and placed vitreous
side down on 35-mm glass-bottomed tissue culture dishes (MatTek
Corp., Ashland, MA) precoated with poly-L-lysine Microscopic Technique
