Nothing is more important than the quality of the images customers are able to achieve using
our Glass Bottom Culture Dishes. This page will feature Customer images created using our dishes.
Image of RBL (rat basophilic
leukemia) cells transfected with GFP-gama-tubulin. The picture of living cells was taken by
inverted confocal microscope. MatTek Cat. # P35G-0-14-C Glass
Bottom Culture Dishes were used.
Cos-7 cell with
GFP-tubulin (projection of 5 confocal sections through the cell).
Cos-7 cells with Histone-GFP
and mitochondrial-dsRed labeling, overlay with DIC.
MatTek Cat # P35G-1.5-14-C and P35GC-1.5-14-C Glass Bottom Culture Dishes were used.
Image of a MTln3
cell (rat adenocarcinoma cell) that was stimulated with Egf for 3 minutes, fixed with formaldehyde
and stained with rhodamine-phalloidin to visualize F-actin in the cell. MatTek Glass Bottom
Culture Dish Cat. # P35G-1.5-14-C were used with a 60x oil objective and a CCD camera.
Pc 4
(phthalocyanine 4 photosensitizer) localizes to mitochondrial membranes. Pc 4 displays a punctate
pattern of fluorescence that closely matches that of MitoTracker Green. Scale bar, 10 mm. A431
cells were loaded with Pc 4 and MitoTracker Green CMXRos. Pc 4 and green MitoTracker fluorescence
were visualized by confocal microscopy. Confocal image acquired with a 63X N.A. 1.4 oil immersion
planapochromat objective with a Zeiss confocal microscope. Cells were cultured on 35-mm glass-bottomed
dishes
